Job Summary
The Web Operations Director is responsible for guiding the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of our websites and digital applications. This role involves developing a holistic view of customer journeys and using data and insights to improve the customer experience. Reporting to the Vice President of Digital, the Director leads a team responsible for UX/UI, design, content, web operations, development, and customer service.
You will:
- Develop the strategy and lead day-to-day operations for the company's websites, microsites, applications, and architecture
- Create best-in-class experiences for consumer and commercial customers, improve website visibility and performance
- Establish clear priorities leading a team including UX/UI, designers, content authors and producers, product managers, and developers
- Lead ongoing testing, optimization, and new feature implementation
- Collaborate on SEO initiatives and content opportunities
- Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and budgets
- Partner with agencies and analytics to track and analyze website performance
You have:
- 10+ years of operating experience as a digital product leader with consumer-facing e-commerce and/or digital marketing
- 5+ years supervisory experience and prior experience leading local demand businesses at scale
- Strong business judgment, experience using data and insights, technical expertise in web tools, and agile methodologies
- Ability to manage multiple projects, adaptability, and proven team management skills
- Bachelor's degree in business, design, advertising, communications, or relevant work experience
- Ability to travel 10% of the time
