Miroslava Ahern, LLC is a thriving Nantucket based Landscape Design Studio. From dramatic seaside retreats to luxury residential homes and groundbreaking commercial developments, our projects are uniquely designed to combine the experience of the exterior with that of the interior. Responsibilities
• Ability to assist with complex projects from schematic design through construction documentation and implementation.
• Assist Designer with high-end, single family residential design, or small-scale commercial
development
• Highly organized with strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle multiple
tasks in a fast-paced studio environment
• Experience in rendering, digital graphic and technical skills. (Grading and Construction Details)
• Obtains skills in site design, technical design documentation and construction observation
experience
• Self-motivated with the ability and desire to assist in the design and construction
documentation/construction observation process
• Ability to follow development schedule and work within set project time constraints.
• Tracking and recording product status; drawing approvals and production goals.
• Maintain industry knowledge and trends in landscape design
• Select inspirational images and create mood and concept boards.
• Acquire samples or generate prototypes as needed.
• Assist with coordination and attend meetings with Contractors and Landscapers as needed
• Requires becoming an integral part and presence in the studio and on Nantucket Island as
required.
• Various other responsibilities to be outlined throughout the course of your development.
Requirements
• B.A from an accredited landscape architecture or architecture program, or a related field
• Preferred experience in Landscape Design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ISketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite; Desired familiarity with SketchUp or other 3D rendering programs, REVU and Drone experience
Nantucket, MA
Remote work option is available. Some travel may be required.
