Cloud Infrastructure & Security Engineer

Our infrastructure relies on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure, Elastic Cloud, Firestore, Apogee, and monitoring tools like Grafana. We are SOC 2 Type 2 compliant, and we use platforms such as Drata and Hexnode to ensure strong compliance and device management practices. We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure & Security Engineer to maintain and enhance our cloud environments while ensuring robust security and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize our GCP and Azure cloud environments, including services like Google Cloud Run, Firestore, Apogee, and Elastic Cloud.
• Oversee Hexnode for device management and security, ensuring compliance across endpoints and maintaining centralized control of device security policies.
• Ensure ongoing SOC 2 Type 2 and HIPAA compliance using Drata, managing security audits, automating evidence collection, and ensuring compliance protocols are met.
• Monitor and audit the infrastructure using tools like Grafana or Datadog, maintaining system performance and security integrity.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and regular audits, applying security best practices to mitigate risks.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience managing cloud infrastructure, with hands-on experience in GCP, Firestore, Azure, Elastic Cloud, and Apogee.
• Strong expertise in cloud security and device management.
• Experience maintaining SOC 2 Type 2 and HIPAA compliance through platforms like Drata.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools for system performance and security monitoring.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and network security within cloud environments.
