The Paragon Case Management Insights (PCMI) Data Platform team’s mission is to empower Selling Partner (SP) Support Operations, SP Support Experience & Root-cause teams and Case Management tenants to make data-driven decisions and derive insights.
We have an immediate need for a creative and driven Engineer who has a passion for building systems that have a measurable impact. You should have deep expertise and passion in working with large data sets, data visualization, building complex data processes, performance tuning, bringing data from disparate data stores, and programmatically identifying patterns. You should have excellent business acumen and communication skills to be able to work with business owners to develop and define key business questions and requirements. You will provide guidance and support for other engineers with industry best practices and direction.

Key Job Responsibilities

  1. Design, implement, and support data warehouse/data lake infrastructure using AWS big data stack, Python, Redshift, Quicksight, Glue/lake formation, EMR/Spark/Scala, Athena, etc.
  2. Improve existing solutions and come up with next-generation Data Architecture to improve scale, quality, timeliness, coverage, monitoring, and security.
  3. Develop new data models and end-to-end data pipelines.
  4. Lead design reviews for other Data Engineers on the team and actively participate in design reviews.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of data engineering experience
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions
  • Experience with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $205,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
