Our team in Moog Space and Defense Group is looking for a Software Engineer to join our Space Vehicles team in Arvada, CO. You will report to the Software Engineering Manager and will have a 9/80 hybrid work schedule.
To be considered for the Software Engineer role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
- Experience with C, C++, Python or similar languages.
- Self-Starter, ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and can communicate effectively.
- 2+ years of experience in designing and developing software in an embedded real-time environment.
- Familiarity with Linux and its associated programming languages and constructs.
As a Software Engineer, you will:
- Design and implement real-time embedded software utilized in the Spacecraft Buses.
- Design and implement software simulators used in automated testing.
- Perform software unit testing.
- Review and provide feedback on software requirements.
- Direct interfacing to space vehicle hardware.
- Work with internal team members to solve complex software and system issues.
- Work with fellow software engineers in the Agile development environment.

Salary Range:
- The base pay range for this opportunity is $80,080 - $104,000 per year.
This position requires access to United States Export Controlled information.
