Software Test Engineer

Uniplus Consultants, Inc., a Manassas, VA based Software Consulting Services Firm has multiple openings for JOB ID 11394: Software Test Engineer.

Job duties include:

1. Participate in full software project lifecycle, from initiation to testing, for mission-critical messaging systems to ensure functional and technical specifications are met.
2. Create and maintain automated test scripts, find and fix problems, and work with other developers on tests that run in the background using programming languages like Perl and Python.
3. Knowledge in UNIX/Linux systems, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Git, and scripting for automation.
4. Work on applications that use Java, connecting messaging parts, and checking for security issues.
5. Design and implement test automation framework, participate in test case reviews, and report findings in JIRA.
6. Conduct root cause analysis for defects and issues discovered during testing.

Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engg or related. Salary ranges between $122,699.00 to $127,000.00/year. Send resume to: including the JOB ID.
