Civil CAD Designer - Roadway Transportation

We are seeking a highly motivated CAD Designer for our Burr Ridge, Illinois office to join the ABNA family!

Responsibilities include:

1. Plan, conduct and coordinate design work on small and large transportation, civil site, and wastewater projects.
2. Originate non-standard details and supply CADD drafting support in the preparation of roadway, drainage, or structural plans and details.
3. Routinely recommend details to reduce design and construction costs.
4. Work with professional staff to develop innovative construction details or design practices.
5. Revise shop drawings for compliance with engineering drawings.
6. Check CADD geometry and complex details.
7. Prepare construction drawings.
8. Assist professional staff in preparation of design concepts, computations, cost estimates, or quantity take-offs.
9. Perform checking assignments and some associated fieldwork as required.
10. May perform other related tasks in support of project engineer, such as compiling and computing engineering data, estimating, etc.
