Role: Sr. Java Backend Engineer

Location: Reston, VA (day one hybrid)

Duration: 12+ Months

Locals or nearby states only.

Mandatory Skills:

1. Java /J2EE (8/11)
2. Microservices/Springboot
3. Azure/AWS
4. Kafka
5. NoSQL DBA

Requirements:

1. 12+ years of hands-on experience with Java, Springboot, Kafka, no sql dbs
2. 4+ years of hands-on experience on cloud (AWS/Azure)
3. Good exposure to micro services architecture and design.
4. Background in Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
5. Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

Preferred Experience:

1. Gitflow
2. Atlassian products – BitBucket, JIRA, Confluence etc.
3. Continuous Integration tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins
