American / Interstate Signcrafters, a leading national sign manufacturing and project management company, is seeking an experienced and creative Lead Sign Designer to join our team. As the Lead Sign Designer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and development of signs for various projects and campaigns. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the sign designs are aligned with the overall vision and messaging. Join our team and take the lead in shaping the visual identity of brands through compelling sign designs! This role is on-site with 7am-4pm hours.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design process for signs from concept to completion
- Generate creative and innovative sign design ideas
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements and objectives
- Manage a team of designers and provide guidance and feedback
- Ensure that all sign designs are aligned with brand guidelines and standards
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in sign design
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a sign designer or related role
- Proficient in design software such as Illustrator, COREL Draw, and other design programs
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous sign design projects
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Keen attention to detail and a passion for creativity
