Senior Learning Designer

Job Responsibilities:

1. Work collaboratively with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design, develop, and maintain high-quality course materials and curricula that meet quality standards like Quality Matters.
2. Review existing course materials and identify areas for pedagogical improvement for fully online delivery.
3. Assist SMEs in creating courses that are consistent with the client's standards and branding.
4. Willing to travel to conferences and demonstrate our process and engage attendees.
5. Conceptualize, design, and create engaging storyboards for video lessons.
6. Conduct 15-20 meetings per week with SMEs.
7. Conceptualize learning scenarios and enhance content by coordinating with the creative team to select stock and custom graphics.
8. Serve as a liaison between the creative team and instructional design team to ensure alignment and collaboration.
9. Manage a team of Instructional Designers, providing mentorship and guidance.
10. Conduct onboarding & training for new instructional design team members.
11. Create high-quality Course Maps and Module documents.
12. Able to create visually pleasing content in LMS.
13. Assist with planning and creating PowerPoint presentations with voiceovers, video lessons, and collaboration tools.
14. Create high-quality documentation such as workflows, meeting minutes, job aids, faculty guides, and instructional videos.
15. Manage multiple projects and SMEs simultaneously.
16. Ensure courses are WCAG 2.0 AA and Section 508 compliant.
17. Provide copyediting and quality assurance for course content in Word and the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure integrity and accessibility.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
