Job DescriptionWrites complete G code programs (GIBBS) & (ESPRIT CAM)Works on multiple levels, change between and create new Work Coordinate Views and draw and write tool pathsRead and write G-Code & M-CodeRequired to check posted programs for errors and performanceAnalyze job orders, drawings, blueprints, specifications, and design data to calculate dimensions, tool selection, machine speeds, and feed rates.Determine reference points, machine cutting paths, or hole locations, and compute angular and linear dimensions, radii, and curvatures.Observe machines on trial runs or conduct computer simulations to ensure that programs and machinery will function properly and produce items that meet specifications.Write programs in the language of a machines controller and store programs.Modify existing programs to enhance efficiency.Determine the sequence of machine operations and select the proper cutting tools needed to machine workpieces into the desired shapes.Adhere to Company Policies and ProceduresAdhere to all Safety Rules and Personnel Protective Equipment requirementWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
