Job Description

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of high-performance, scalable, and secure Java applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code. Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers.
• Perform unit testing and ensure the reliability of the codebase.
• Provide technical leadership in the development and maintenance of Java-based applications.
• Work closely with architects to ensure that the software architecture aligns with business requirements. Identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and other issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand and refine requirements.
• Work closely with the QA team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, coding standards, and release notes. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Share knowledge and best practices with the development team.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Senior Java Developer with 6-8 years of hands-on development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, and related technologies.
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
• Certification in Java development is a plus.
• Some knowledge of Fab and manufacturing a definite plus.
